Paula Diggins
Paula has been competing in Obedience and Agility for many years with her Australian Shepherds, and helps organize and run the two ASCA trials held at CCSC each year. Paula teaches obedience classes.
Joyce Guthrie
Joyce, an AKC Rally judge, has owned and shown Great Danes and Min Pins for many years. She is currently teaching Pet Manners and Rally classes, and shows her dogs in Rally, obedience, agility and tracking.
Liz Hansen
Liz Hansen started with English Springer Spaniels, has bred & exhibited Standard Schnauzers for over 30 years, and recently added Berger Picards. She competes primarily in conformation, but also in tracking, agility, & obedience. Seasar was ranked #1 Standard Schnauzer in the country 3 years, and won Best of Breed at Westminster 4 times. He and his son Vegas are both all-bred Best in Show winners. Liz teaches beginning & advanced conformation handling classes at CCSC.
Judy Harris
Judy Harris has Standard Poodles and trains and shows in Agility. She is teaching Agility Foundations.
Debbie Heifner
Debbie has owned and trained dogs for several years, titling her Whippet and Border Collie in agility. She currently runs Judy Steiner's lab Josie and they are ranked #2 in labs in the U.S. Deb is currently teaching privates upon request.
Becky Henson
Becky Henson is a well-known herding instructor and has also attained high leve obedience titles with her dogs. She will be teaching Utility Obedience classes.
Cindy Jansen
Cindy Jansen has been training dogs for several years and is involved with the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America. Her SCWT Riley was the 3rd of his breed to receive a VCD2 title by completing his CDX with scores in the 190s and placements. Cindy shows in obedience, agility, and tracking. She teaches agility and obedience classes.
Patti Mierzwa
Patti comes from a horse background and has successfully trained hunter/jumpers to very high levels. She now shows in agility and teaches the CCSC jumping skills class.
Vicki Miller
Vicki has been training dogs in 1996. She has trained and competed with her German Shepherd Dogs in agility, obedience, tracking and Schutzhund. Vicki teaches Agility Foundations and Drive Training -Obedience c lass es and assists in various other obedience and agility classes. She also handles the enrollment scheduling of CCSC classes each session.
Robin Nuttall
Robin has been training dogs for over 20 years, titling dogs in AKC, UKC, and NADAC. Robin's Doberman, Cala, won the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge National Championship 60-weave in 2005. Robin currently trains and shows her Doberman and Min Pin in Rally and Agility. She teaches various agility classes and APDT Rally.. Robin also designs the CCSC website and answers your emails.
Barbara Petty
Barb has been training and competing in dog events for over 20 years, starting with training a beagle for obedience. She has an extensive background in animal science and behavior. Her teaching methods emphasize a strong foundation and teamwork, always striving to find what works best for each individual team. Barb’s own dogs compete in AKC, UKC and ASCA obedience as well as various venues of agility. She has earned over 30 rally and obedience titles through the Utility Dog title in the past ten years, and has earned many agility titles in AKC, USDAA, and NADAC. Her first dog, MACH2 Snickers, qualified for AKC Nationals 4 years in a row, finishing 7th in the 24” height division in 2001.
Jennifer Riess
Jennifer Riess has trained and competed dogs in many sports, including obedience, agility, weight pull, tracking, earth dog, and more. She has taught classes for several years through Dellhaven kennel. She teaches various classes, including agility and the new carting class.
You will often see Jennifer's husband Gary around the building, assisting with keeping things running smoothly and occasionally stepping in to help with a class.
Nancy Ripperger
Nancy shows her Border Collies in obedience. She teaches Pet Manners classes.
Jamie Sieveking, Steve Sieveking
Steve and Jamie have both trained dogs for many years, in obedience, tracking, field work, agility, conformation, and weight pulling. Jamie is an AKC Rally judge and teaches Pet Manners 1.
Steve teaches tracklaying skills and is a Provisional AKC Tracking judge.. Both assist with the thriving Boone County 4H program.
Judy Steiner
Judy has trained dogs for over 20 years in Obedience, Agility, Drill Team, Schutzhund, Tracking, and Fieldwork. She is a certified evaluator for Therapy Dogs International, and conducts therapy visits with her Labrador Retrievers throughout the mid-Missouri area. She is involved with Dog Scouts of America and promotes responsible dog ownership. Judy teaches daytime Pet Manners classes
