Kathy Echols

CCSC owner Kathy has been training dogs since 1993. She has trained and competed with her dogs in agility, tracking, obedience, rally, conformation, earthdog and lure coursing in a variety of organizations (AKC, UKC, NADAC, ASCA, AWTA, ASFA). She is a certified pet dog trainer, passing the CPDT test in 2006, and a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evalulator. Kathy teaches using positive reinforcement techniques (i.e. clicker). She teaches agility classes from foundation skills to handling as well as pet manners/puppy classes.

Ginger Huxley

CCSC Owner Ginger has been training dogs for over 10 years and has competed in agility, obedience, drill team, and tracking in AKC, UKC, and NADAC. Ginger currently teaches agility classes.

Andrea Meinhart

CCSC Owner Andrea has been training and showing Belgian Tervuren in AKC Obedience for over 20 years. Her Tervuren have had multiple Group Wins in Breed Competition (owner-handled), multiple HIT and High-Combined Awards in obedience and in agility, and advanced obedience, agility and tracking titles. Andrea teaches competition obedience and obedience for agility, as well as puppy classes.

Paula Diggins

Paula Diggins began training obedience dogs in 1990. She owned, trained and competed with a Shar-Pei and a German Shepherd before she
found her favorite breed, Australian Shepherd. Paula's remarkable red-tri, Ch. Dusty, UDX TDX, OA, OAJ, HS earned national acclaim from
the Australian Shepherd Club of America during the years he was shown.

Dusty and Tique' (Andrea Meinhart's dog) were traveling companions for many years, attending obedience, conformation, herding, agility and tracking events together. Paula teaches puppy classes, Pet Manners, and is available to assist Andrea with solving complex competitive obedience problems.

Becky Hansen

Becky has been competing with Rough and Smooth Collies since before 1990. Breeding under the kennel name "Montara" she has titled her bred-by Collies in conformation, obedience, agility, rally and herding. Along the way, her dogs have earned multiple Best in Show, High In Trials and Awards of Merit. Becky is an AKC judge for Herding Trials. She teaches the Intro to Open obedience class.

Seaser (Ch Scarlight's Seasar, TD, NA), a Standard Schnauzer owned by instructor Liz Hansen, goes Best in Show owner handled. Seasar also won the breed at Westminster in 2003 and 2004.

Liz Hansen

Liz Hansen has bred and shown Standard Schnauzers and Springer Spaniels for over 30 years, and has also done tracking and agility. In 2003 she showed her Standard Schnauzer Seasar to a number 1 ranking and won breed at Westminster the past 3 years in a row. She teaches a conformation handling class at CCSC.

 

Cindy Jansen

Cindy Jansen has been training dogs for several years and is involved with the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America. Her SCWT Riley recently became the 3rd of his breed to receive a VCD2 title by completing his CDX with scores in the 190s and placements. Cindy shows in obedience, agility, and tracking. She will teach agility and obedience classes.

Patti Mierzwa

Patti comes from a horse background and has successfully trained hunter/jumpers to very high levels. She now shows in agility and teaches the CCSC jumping skills class.

Robin Nuttall

Robin has been training dogs for over 20 years, titling dogs in AKC, UKC, and NADAC. Robin's Doberman, Cala, won the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge National Championship 60-weave in 2005. Robin currently trains and shows her Doberman and Min Pin in Rally and Agility. She teaches various agility classes.

Jennifer Riess

Jennifer Riess has trained and competed dogs in many sports, including obedience, agility, weight pull, tracking, earth dog, and more. She has taught classes for several years through Dellhaven kennel. She teaches various classes, including agility and the new carting class.

Gary Riess

Gary has been training dogs for several years and currently shows in Rally obedience. He will be assisting in the Agility Foundations class.

Jamie Sieveking

Steve and Jamie have both trained dogs for many years, in obedience, tracking, field work, agility, conformation, and weight pulling. Jamie is a Rally judge and teaches Pet Manners 1.

Judy Steiner

Judy has trained dogs for over 20 years in Obedience, Agility, Drill Team, Schutzhund, Tracking, and Fieldwork. She is a certified evaluator for Therapy Dogs International, and conducts therapy visits with her Labrador Retrievers throughout the mid Missouri area. She is involved with Dog Scouts of America and promotes responsible dog ownership. Judy will teach daytime Pet Manners classes.
