Class Descriptions

Classes fill quickly!
Early enrollment helps ensure placement in the class of your choice.

The New Class Enrollment Form. Please remember we cannot take enrollments through email or phone. There is now Credit Card information on the enrollment form. We will (hopefully soon!) have a way to enroll online. Don't forget to enclose your payment with your enrollment form!

CCSC's goal is to provide a fun, safe, supportive environment for dog training. We bring positively-based training to the Columbia area from instructors who actively participate in a variety dog sports, titling their own dogs and helping their students do the same. Our classes are based on positive reinforcement methods and operant conditioning including some clicker training.

Currently CCSC offers agility, clicker, conformation, obedience, rally obedience and special interest classes. Not all classes are offered each session, so check the calendar. All classes are for 6 week sessions, plus an Orientation session for all students without dogs. Hour classes are $90 for the 6 weeks*, $80 for a second (or more) class. Any class enrollment qualifies students for a six week building membership enrollment at $30 for the six weeks. Most classes are limited to 8-10 students and will have 2 instructors. 30-minute classes are $65 and limited to 6 students*. Classes must be paid for to reserve a spot. Make checks payable to CCSC, and note which class you are enrolling in on the check. We also now take Mastercard and Visa.

Class Enrollment Form 2008 (can be filled out online then mailed)

After contacting us, you may open an enrollment form using Acrobat, fill it out online, print it, and mail it. However, you must still contact us first, and send an enrollment form and payment to hold a spot! While we are happy to talk by phone or email at any time, we do not accept actual enrollment by phone or email. See above.

*Late Enrollment Fees
Because of the extra work involved in processing late enrollments, starting with the classes beginning the week of September 10, 2007, there will be a $10 per class Late Enrollment Fee for all enrollments received AFTER Orientation. Orientation is the Wednesday before the start of classes. For the classes starting the week of September 10, Late Enrollment Fees will be instituted for enrollments after September 5. For classes starting October 29, late enrollment fees will be instituted for enrollments received after October 24.
